40% in: So far I've felt the book to be rather slow, but that might be because I just finished a fast paced, really entertaining legal thriller that ran out in two days. I came into Dark Places on its premise alone, after going through a couple top 10 best thrillers lists, and I can say that, although the mystery of the story is quite interesting and there is some suspense in the way the plot unfolds bit by bit, I would never think of it as a thriller.
